Frequently Asked Questions

Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers.

We know permanent makeup is a big decision—so we’ve answered the most common questions our clients ask before booking. No fluff, no jargon—just clear, honest info to help you feel confident and informed every step of the way.

Nope. Every treatment is customized to your skin tone, facial features, and personal style. I focus on soft, subtle enhancements that look natural—not harsh or heavy.

Most clients say it feels like light scratching or pressure. I use high-quality numbing agents and check in with you throughout the session to make sure you’re comfortable from start to finish.

You’re not alone—and you’re in good hands. I’ve helped many clients correct previous work. Whether it’s brows that didn’t heal well or eyeliner that didn’t suit your eye shape, we’ll take a thoughtful, supportive approach to get the results you actually wanted.

Totally understandable. I work with a “less is more” approach and will always err on the side of subtle. We’ll build your look together, step-by-step, so it feels like you—just more polished.

It’s semi-permanent. The pigment fades gradually over time, usually lasting 1–3 years depending on the area treated, your skin type, and lifestyle.

That’s why we begin with a detailed consultation and recommend a soft, natural look to start. Permanent makeup does fade gradually, and it can be refined or removed if your preferences change.

Initial healing is around 7–14 days, but it takes about 4–6 weeks for full results. I’ll walk you through every step of the healing process and provide detailed aftercare instructions.

Absolutely! Once healed, you can wear regular makeup over your permanent makeup if you want to switch up your look—but most clients find they don’t need to anymore.

Yes. Colour Clinic is inspected annually by the Halton Health Department. I use sterile, single-use tools and follow strict hygiene standards for every procedure.

That’s what I’m here for. We’ll do a full consultation and design process before anything begins—mapping out the ideal shape and tone based on your features, skin tone, and preferences.

My goal is to get it right the first time. That’s why we review colour, shape, and size with you again right before the procedure—your design is fully approved before we begin. I want you to leave feeling confident and loving your results.

Most appointments are between 2–3 hours depending on the treatment. This includes consultation, numbing, mapping, and the procedure itself—never rushed.

I’ll send you a full pre-care guide when you book. It includes things like avoiding caffeine, alcohol, and blood thinners before your session to help with comfort and healing.

No. For your safety and the safety of your baby, I don’t perform procedures on pregnant or breastfeeding clients.

Your initial appointment includes a full consultation immediately prior to the procedure, the procedure itself, aftercare instructions, and healing balm.

You can book a free phone consultation or a $50 in-person consultation directly through the website. We’ll talk through your goals, answer your questions, and help you feel fully informed before booking.

I offer a full range of services including microblading, nano brows, powder brows, lip blushing, lip neutralization, lip liner, eyeliner, saline tattoo removal, and areola restoration.

Yes! You can view my portfolio on the website or Instagram page to see real client results. Everything you see is work I’ve personally done.

Appointment availability varies, but I typically book 2–3 weeks in advance. It’s best to schedule early if you have a specific date in mind.

An optional Perfecting Touch-up is available by request at 8 weeks for Colour Clinic clients, priced at $99 per hour. It’s ideal for adding details or refinements once the skin has fully healed. After that, as your colour naturally fades (typically within 1–3 years depending on the treatment), a full Redo Session will be required and is priced as a new procedure.
